AdHoc joined 41 Action News and others who are active in our communities for a discussion about the issues facing Kansas City. We believe that what affects one of us affects all of us. We are one Kansas City, and we all need to be a part of the change to make our city a better home for all of us.

Take a few minutes to learn more about this place we call home. Kansas Citians are kind, generous, and fiercely loyal, and it is time we leverage those qualities to address the issues that have kept our city separated for so long. Kansas City was found to be the 5th most economically segregated city in the US last year in a study done by the Urban Institute. That separation makes all of us less prosperous; we are more connected than we realize. It also affects us disproportionately by race. We can see that in the unjust ways our city has been shaped through red-lining and blockbusting.
